María del Mar Martiz
María del Mar Martiz is the artist behind WuiRa Art.
From her studio in El Bruc, at the foothills of Montserrat, WuiRa Art creates singular, original works using acrylic, plaster, metallic pigments, stones, resin and other materials.
Many pieces incorporate handmade black frames, conceived and built as an integral part of the artwork. Her practice explores matter, transformation, memory, energy and light.
